the morning classIn the tailoring program we have 17 students currently enrolled. The students have been divided in morning and evening classes to avoid overcrowding and to allow a friendly sharing of the machines.

The students pay a fee of 1,000 UG X (US D 0.61) per week making a total of 12,000 UG X (US D 7.32) for the three months of their training. After the training they will be awarded with Certificate in Tailoring and Garments Cutting. There will be a graduation ceremony after the completing of at least two groups by the end of this year.

Among the 17 students we have who are enrolled in the tailoring program there are 6 female and 11 males.

In the picture below is Ayera Munguryek one of the best performing female students.

The students from both morning and evening classes are doing so well and have started making some simple dress for children, plus shirts and blouses.

By next month they will be in a position to produce what can be put on the market for sale.
